Jennifer earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from University of Louisville. Following graduation, Jennifer spent several years as a travel nurse in hospitals throughout the country specializing in pulmonary and cardiac care. She then served at National Jewish Health, treating and educating patients with allergies, asthma, and immunological deficiencies. After earning her Masters of Science in Nursing: Family Nurse Practitioner from Regis University, Jennifer came to Colorado Allergy & Asthma to continue working in this specialty as a provider.
Family nurse practitioners are trained to be medical providers for a wide range of diseases. In addition to diagnosing and treating, NPs focus on health promotion, education, and disease prevention. Jennifer holds national board certification in family practice and is required to accumulate many hours of continuing education credits to maintain certification. Jennifer works very closely with our physicians at Colorado Allergy and Asthma Centers, and is passionate about practicing evidence-based medicine to deliver excellent and holistic care to her patients.
