Dr. Gogate Joins Practice as Thirteenth Practicing Physician and Principal Investigator at Denver Research Division
Denver-September 22, 2014 – Colorado Allergy and Asthma Centers, PC is pleased to welcome Shaila Gogate to their staff. She is the newest member to CAAC’s practice, consisting of 13 physicians and 10 locations in and around the Denver metro area, including locations in Fort Collins, Greeley, and Castle Rock.
Dr. Gogate is a board-certified allergist who will practice at Colorado Allergy and Asthma Centers’ Denver location in Lowry. In addition, she will be a Principal Investigator in CAAC’s Clinical Research Division in Denver. She joins CAAC from Teva Pharmaceuticals Respiratory Division where she was a Medical Science Liaison. She received her Doctorate from Chicago Medical School. Dr. Gogate completed her internal medicine residency at Washington University Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO and completed her allergy and immunology fellowship at National Jewish Health in Denver where she remained a faculty member for nearly three years afterward.
When asked what her philosophy of care is, Dr. Gogate said, “I believe that communication between providers and patients is essential. In order to develop the best possible treatment plan, I feel it is important to incorporate current scientific evidence with a patient’s preferences.”
