Carter Vincent Butte
As a 2015 graduate of Chaparral High School, Carter was involved in multiple clubs and sports. He enjoys hiking, climbing, skiing and snowboarding. This fall, he will be attending Colorado State University studying Mechanical Engineering. His future career goals include working in aerospace, humanitarian efforts or government.
Christopher M. King
In May 2015, Christopher graduated as an Honor Graduate and Valedictorian of Dakota Ridge High School. In his senior year, he was named Scholar Athlete of the Year, All State and Most Valuable Player on the Jeffco Nordic Ski Team and All Conference in Cross Country. He was involved in the National Honor Society as well as Student Government where he served as Treasurer. During his high school years, he earned Varsity Letters in cross-country, Nordic skiing, track and swimming. This fall, Christopher will be attending the University of Montana as a Biochemistry Major with emphasis on pre-med. After college, he plans to pursue a Medical Doctorate, inspired by the doctors who allowed him to pursue his athletic endeavors despite his asthma and various allergies.
Kavan Daniel Ossentjuk
Kavan is a graduate of Kent Denver School. While at Kent, Kavan became an avid runner and in his senior year, was awarded the honor of being the cross-country captain. He also was involved in Speech and Debate, the Finance and Investment Club, the Fine Arts magazine, Paper Wings and a member of the Curriculum Panel. Kavan has developed a passion for leadership, its development and the importance of community service. Through his involvement with Colorado Young Leaders (CYL), he gained an internship at Graebel Companies. Kavan intends to expand his goals by studying Leadership Development and Emotional Intelligence at the University of Puget Sound, through the Business Leadership Program.
Ben Andrew Sappey
This spring, Ben graduated from Lakewood High School where he was involved in the Colorado Math League and the International Baccalaureate program. He also participated in tennis and swimming as well as track and field during his high school years. He is looking forward to continuing his education at Occidental College in California where he plans to study physics and chemistry. He will also be a member of the Occidental Division III swim team.
