2019 Scholarship Recipients

Paige Madison Dzengelewski

Paige graduated with high honors from Arapahoe High School where she enjoyed competing at DECA Nationals, participating in the Congressional Art Competition, being a Link Crew leader for incoming freshmen, representing her high school at the University of Colorado Outstanding Student Banquet, getting involved in student council, and being a soccer team captain. She also hopes to continue volunteering after creating a project to offer emotional and financial support to those incarcerated and their families. Paige will be attending California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo where she will enter the five-year Bachelor of Architecture program as an honors student. She appreciates all Dr. Koepke and CAAC have done to keep her healthy.

2019_parker_henry

Parker Elizabeth Henry

Parker graduated from Mountain Vista High School and is excited to start a new adventure at the University of San Diego. In high school, she enjoyed volunteering through National Honor Society and created the Model United Nations club at her school in order to gain a global perspective. She ended her high school career with academic honors and an all-american title. When she is not studying, you can find her at Northridge Recreation Center where she swims competitively with Highlands Ranch Aquatics. In college, Parker plans on studying International Law, minoring in French or Political Science, and competing for the University of San Diego’s swim and dive team. Her dream is to one day work for the United Nations while swimming, volunteering, and traveling the world.

2019_megan_klane

Megan Sandra Klane

Megan graduated with honors from Golden High School, where she was simultaneously a member of the National Honor Society and the National Society for High School Scholars. Both before and during high school, Megan has volunteered throughout the community of Golden, as well as at several non-profit organizations. One of her favorite places to volunteer at is Spirit Ranch – a therapeutic riding program designed to provide children and adults with disabilities, disabilities, the opportunity to ride a horse for moments of pleasure. In the fall, Megan will be attending Colorado State University where she will major in Theater and Performance, in order to continue to further propel her dream of becoming a professional actress on stage and in films.

2019_gabrielle_vance

Gabrielle Lindsey Vance

Gabrielle graduated from Denver Christian High School in May. During high school, Gabrielle was part of the National Honors Society, captain of her soccer team, and student body president. This fall she will be attending the University of Colorado Denver majoring in Biology with a Spanish minor. Ultimately, she hopes to become a pediatric Physician’s Assistant and work hard to better the lives of every patient.
