Anneke Allen
Anneke graduated from Eaglecrest High School with high academic honors. She will attend the University of Colorado in Boulder for her undergraduate degree. After college she plans to pursue a degree in optometry. In high school, she was involved in Student Council for four years, holding several offices. She was on the varsity lacrosse team for three years and varsity swim team for four years, serving as co-captain her senior year. In the summertime, Anneke works as a lifeguard and swimming instructor. For two summers, she has traveled to Indiana to serve at HandyCamp, a camp for cognitively disabled adults. While serving at HandyCamp she has learned many lessons that have truly been life changing.

matthew_joshua_guerin

Matthew Joshua Guerin
Matthew is a graduate of Highlands Ranch High School. Matthew is also an Eagle Scout. He is very active in the leadership of his church, St. Andrew United Methodist. He has participated in the youth leadership team for 7 years and has worked on mission trips to Belize New Orleans/Katrina , and throughout Colorado and the U.S. He has been a Tenor in the Holy Pretzel Youth choir for 7 years (in addition to adult ensembles) performing in church and touring to homeless shelters, soup kitchens, correctional facilities, and churches all over the U.S. He plays the piano, percussion, guitar and several other instruments. He has been in the Highlands Ranch High School Marching Band (Pit Section Leader and Drum Line Captain) and the Jazz Band. He has sung in the Talons, Troubadours, and Falcon Singers at HRHS. He was chosen for the Continental League Honor Choir and Colorado All-State Honor Choir . Matthew has been in the Talent Shows, plays and musicals all 4 years at HRHS. He has lettered in Choir, Band, Theatre and Academics. He is a member of the Tri M – Music Honor Society. He also sings and plays percussion/set in two local bands: Tangerine Jam and Red Tide Rising. Matthew is now heading off to the University of Colorado at Boulder where he will be majoring in Vocal Performance and Music Education. He plans to be a teacher for the vocal arts in his future.

mallory_heinzeroth

Mallory Heinzeroth
Mallory graduated from Denver East High School in 2008 in the top 5% of her class. She was active in all facets of the East Community. She served as Chief Editor of the school yearbook, President of Honors Choir, President of National Honors Society, a member of Key Club and a three-sport athlete. In 2004 she co-founded With Love Inc., a non-profit organization aimed at serving the underprivileged both nationally and internationally. As an undergraduate student at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa she was elected to the Executive Board of the Student Activities Council, sang in the Aurora Choir and is the Match Secretary for the Women’s Rugby Team. Mallory is a sophomore majoring in Business and Communications Studies with a minor in Spanish and completed her freshmen year on the Dean’s List.

Laura Johnson
Laura is the fourth born in a family of eight home-educated children. At the age of two, Laura began playing the violin. She and her three older siblings form a family string quartet, which performs regularly throughout the Denver area. Laura has been a member of the Denver Young Artists Orchestra for the past seven years. In 2009, Laura received the opportunity to solo with the Denver Young Artists Orchestra, the Lone Tree Symphony, and the Lakewood Symphony which gave her the opportunity to travel to England this summer performing in many concerts and recitals. Although music is a life-long passion for Laura, she is also keenly interested in nursing. With a love for serving others, she earned her Certified Nurse Aid license at the age of 16 and regularly serves as a volunteer in the pediatrics department at Exempla Lutheran Medical Center in Wheat Ridge. As a 2009 home-schooled graduate, Laura is continuing to take nursing prerequisite classes with the goal of completing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. Whether it’s music or nursing, Laura’s goal is to encourage others and bring glory to God!
